Alison Murchie has been working in casting for over 12 years having previously worked as a singer, actor, a researcher at the Imperial War Museum, and a travel writer and editor for the Guardian and Rough Guides. She has lived and worked in France, Czech Republic, Ukraine, India and Spain. She started out with Chand Casting and worked on Scottish Mussel with Tallulah Riley and Martin Compston and other independent films, and also adverts for Vodafone, Lego and Cadbury. Since 2016 she has been working with Nancy Bishop Casting where she is an Associate. Working almost exclusively in film and TV they have cast series for Netflix, Amazon, Disney +. Films include Prizefighter with Russell Crowe and Ray Winstone, Miranda's Victim with Abigail Breslin and Donald Sutherland, 5 Pounds of Pressure with Luke Evans and Alex Pettyfer, and recently Under the Stars with Toni Collette and Andy Garcia; Nancy Bishop Casting won a CSA award for their work on Borat Subsequent Moviefilm

- Everyone is given a 12 minute time block upon booking

- You have the option to submit a self tape to be reviewed by the agents (no more than 1 and a half minutes in length)

- The agent will review and give feedback on your spotlight page

- You will get to ask any questions you want answers to in your allocated time block with the agents

Rae Hendrie is a Casting Director who has been working in casting in tv and film for the last 10 years. In 2022, after 7 years at Julie Harkin Casting, Rae has started her own company, Rae Casting. She has worked with Jill Trevellick, Nina Gold and Nicky Bligh. TV projects which she has worked on recently include Fortitude (SKY Atlantic), War and Peace (BBC) and Lucky Man series 1 (SKY 1).

Originally from Liverpool, Connor has been working in casting with Shaheen Baig Casting since 2021, contributing to a range of independent films and projects for streamers and terrestrial television. Connor is a graduate of the first cohort of the NFTS Casting course. His background includes drama school training and experience working with young people to engage them in the arts.
